Windows Warranty

Windows installed by Relief Windows are manufactured by Wincore Windows or Jeld-Wen Windows.

Relief Windows extends to our customers a limited lifetime warranty for labor and materials related to all Jeld-Wen and Wincore vinyl and wood replacement window products installed by Relief Windows. This includes a lifetime glass breakage warranty*, seal failure**, defects in vinyl components, and any operating part of the product; additionally, Jeld-Wen promises a lifetime of no rot, moisture intrusion, or termites on wood products. Warranties on window parts are backed by Jeld-Wen and Wincore Windows. Labor and materials for replacement of windows, sashes, and components included under warranty are covered at no expense to the customer, excluding repair for damages incurred by acts of nature, damage due to misuse, or damage covered by homeowner’s insurance.

Screen material associated with Jeld-Wen and Wincore windows is not covered under any warranty. Should a screen become damaged after installation is complete, services and materials to replace the screen are available through Relief Windows at a cost to the customer.

*Accidental Glass Breakage Warranty does not include Jeld-Wen wood products or SSI Millworks products.

Doors Warranty

Doors and all components are manufactured by Wincore Windows, SSI Millworks, and Jeld-Wen. Relief Windows extends a limited lifetime warranty for labor on Wincore and Jeld-Wen doors installed by Relief Windows and a 2-year labor warranty for SSI Millworks products. Warranties on all door materials and parts are backed by each manufacturer.

Siding Warranty

Vinyl Siding, Hardie Plank, and all components are manufactured by Pro-Via and James Hardie. Relief Windows extends a limited lifetime warranty for labor performed by Relief Windows. Warranties on all siding material and parts are backed by each manufacturer.

Shutters Warranty

Interior Louvered Shutters and all components are manufactured by Elegant Window Fashions. Relief Windows extends a limited lifetime warranty for labor performed by Relief Windows. Warranties on all interior shutters and parts are backed by Elegant Window Fashions.

Limitations and Exclusions

• Acts of God (hurricanes, tornadoes, flood, etc), acts of war, riot, fire, modifications, and vandalism are not covered under warranty.
• Regular maintenance such as cleaning (with a non-abrasive cleaning agent), painting, or replacement of weather stripping or screens is not covered under this warranty.
• Proper maintenance of materials surrounding windows and doors, such as wood trim, vinyl or cement siding, bricks, or stucco, must be properly inspected and maintained, as this warranty does not cover damage caused by improperly maintained surfaces
• Labor Warranty does not transfer.
• Variations in color may occur between existing, weathered material and replacement parts.
